Our last event was Getting Acquainted with WordPress organized by Abhishek Prakash, Harshit Srivastava, Harsha Vardhan Budaraju, Akshat Gupta and Naveen Kharwar and the volunteers ( SMS Varanasi Students ).
We are thankful to SMS Varanasi for providing the venue and helping Open Source Culture to grow, there are very few who understand the power of Open Source.
The Event starts with the Introduction of Open Source Technology and VARANASI FOSS.
Teachers and students are excited to have us there after the introduction Harshit Srivastava start with explaining What is Content Management System? he explained the history and why CMS is better than a Hard-Coded Website students are excited they did cross questions that makes the event more awesome.
In the second phase Akshat Gupta came with Introduction to WordPress and he start with some data that why WordPress is better then the other CMS’s out there after that he move to explain the Power of WordPress, and where the students can get start with WordPress.
We planned to do a Demonstration phase where we will do a live Installation of WordPress in cloud server and no one can do it better than Abhishek Prakash. Abhishek Prakash
Our motive of the event was to tell student how to start a career with WordPress and Harsh Vardhan is the guy only who will be able to motivate and and explain because he had a great experience in Web Development and WordPress Development. He tried his best to not bore people and with the same he encourage everyone to try WordPress and start doing freelancing while doing there college. He answered some questions that help students and with this we end the awesome event.
